Impossible Bosses StarCraft II is a continuation of the custom game Impossible Bosses WC3 which was started out in 2007 by the one and only, Psyris. Impossible Bosses SC2 takes some of the old ideas from the Warcraft III version but at the same time brings new mechanics and features to the table. The alpha version started in early April 2014 and the game was publicly released on May 2014 starting from patch 1.1.

One of the features that remains from the Warcraft III version is the ability to choose between different difficulties at the beginning of the game. Impossible Bosses SC II include 4 difference difficulties which are, Easy, Medium, Hard, Impossible.
